Outreach Psychology is a psychology practice based in Hazelwood Park, South Australia, led by James Tucsok. James graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Macquarie University (2002) and holds a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Adelaide (2004).
James was the recipient of the Anna Florence Booth Prize (for the best psychology thesis in the Master’s Program at the University of Adelaide) and was awarded the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (SA) Prize (for the overall top psychology student completing the Clinical Psychology Master’s program at the University of Adelaide).
James is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA Reg No. PSY0001245805), and he is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Clinical College and the APS Psychologists and Aging Interest Group.
James uses various psychological approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness to manage a range of psychological problems.
James has experience in treating common psychological conditions including anxiety disorders (e.g.
obsessive disorder, social anxiety and panic disorder) and depression. Plus, he also has a strong
interest in assisting people with general well-being, work-life balance issues, men's health and
healthy aging strategies.
James also provides a "Walk in the Park Psychology" service in the beautiful eastern suburbs parklands for those who prefer an outside therapy experience rather than the clinic.
We also provide assessments in the areas of general cognitive ability (IQ), literacy & numeracy, and mental health screening for adolescents (16 years & over) and adults.
